CFDGBC Tuning – Key of C Major

My recent alt tuning blog posts have focused on the following C tunings:

Tonight, we’re going to explore the tuning CFDGBC in C Major.

What you might notice is that three of the notes (D, G and B) are actually the same notes as standard tuning, which means only three strings are tuned differently than standard tuning.

The video below features a short, live version of my song “Cherishing Forever.” The screenshot below the video shows the notes I’m playing in scale notes, numbers, scale degrees and intervals.
