Tonight is especially difficult. Not only did we lose Prince yesterday, this morning it was reported that a local young woman who has been missing for a week was found dead.
One of the challenges of writing in a new tuning 6 days a week is that life happens. One of the benefits of sharing a new song each day is that I’m learning how to write outside of how I feel.
With that said, my heavy heart is in Open A# (Purple Rain) Tuning in the Key of A# Major. My open string notes are:

This is the 97th completely different alternate tuning so far in 2016.
